Tyranno Studios Partners to Assist in Official Stormtrooper NFT Collection

Tyranno Studios, formerly known as Prince WAX Studios, has partnered with Supremacy Games to aid in the launch of an officially licensed  Stormtrooper collection based on Shepperton Design Studio’s original design.

Tyranno Studios is still best known to most as WAX Studios, but given their new, wider scope, they rebranded. WAX has 3 games in various stages of development: Blockchain Brawlers, Music Mogul, and Axis Zero. Blockchain Brawlers is in its open beta phase and currently playable, Music Mogul is in alpha as of 29th September, and Axis Zero is an intriguing enigma.

Tyranno Studios has a blend of high-end experience, from gaming in their Chief Games Officer, Michael Rubinelli, to Web3 in their Co-Founders, William Quigley and Jonathan Yantis. This makes them an attractive studio to partner with if you are looking at stepping into Web3 and that is what is happening here.

Supremacy Games, a Finnish developer and publisher, have teamed up with Tyranno Studio to launch a licensed collection of Stormtrooper NFTs. This collection will be 10,000 strong and intended to be PFP (profile picture) NFTs in ERC-20/BEP-20. The collection will be based on Shepperton Design Studios‘ official design, making this set desirable from the get-go. Andrew Ainsworth of Shepperton helped to design the original Stormtrooper back in 1976 and still oversees products for authenticity and quality.

It’s always interesting to see high-end IPs entering the space and official Stormtroopers are welcome. Although the large PFP NFT collections don’t make me tingle in all the right places, two-thirds of the entities involved in this project work in Web3 gaming — I can’t help but wonder. Could this be leading to something more directly in the world of gaming?

The collection will launch on 27th October 2022, you can read more about them on their website, and they are also offering a giveaway here.
