Gamescom is one of the biggest gaming events on the planet and 2022 may be the best yet. Now, when you think of this event and the common reaction to blockchain and NFTs by many gamers, you might think there will be little representation, but you’d be wrong. Token Gamer will be at Gamescom 2022 and so will many other Web3 organizations!
Now, I ought to be clear: we are not exhibiting and we don’t have a stand — we’re just not there yet. However, we are attending in an official capacity and I (Rob) have a media pass. Token Gamer is there in a business capacity for the most part, meeting with Web3 and non-Web3 gaming companies and people, but there will be a lot of time spent drinking in the gaming and meeting friends we’ve met on our digital journey so far.

One final piece of news — though we haven’t quite ironed out the details yet — is John and Pink.gg will be at the event and so episode 36 of the Mint One podcast will be recorded from Cologne, Germany. As we did with NFT.NYC, we will go over the event and noteworthy happenings you might have missed.
Gamescom 2022 is shaping up beautifully and a wealth of major blockchain games, projects, and blockchains will be attending. There may be some initial reservations about the tech, but the interest is growing quickly from within the industry and we intend on representing it to the fullest. See you in Cologne!
