My Pet Hooligan is now live on the Epic Games Store for all to play in its Open Early Access Phase, and to make things even more interesting, they have partnered with Amazon Prime Gaming to give away some NFTs!
My Pet Hooligan lurked around the fringes of web3 gaming for a while, it seemed. The game looks fantastic, has one of the most cohesive art styles and brand identities in the space, and is utilizing NFTs in a great — albeit not groundbreaking — way. Nevertheless, I wasn’t seeing any content about the game until recently.
What Is My Pet Hooligan?
My Pet Hooligan (MPH) by AMGI Studios is a chaotic, first-person/third-person shooter with several different game modes — a battle royale, a team deathmatch, and a social mode. It is free-to-play, it’s on the Epic Games Store, and it utilizes the Polygon blockchain. There was an initial launch of 8,888 rabbit avatars that you can use in-game as part of their Genesis collection and these can still be bought on OpenSea, but be warned, they have a floor price over over $1,000 at the moment!
What is more interesting to me is the individual customization possible with your character, allowing players to change their rabbit’s fur, equip clothes, change out their skateboard, and so on. So, even if you aren’t “unique” with one of the Genesis NFTs, you can still make your character your own. Speaking of items, let’s look at that drop.
