We are comfortably over 6 months of the weekly Mint One Podcast and so much has changed. To celebrate the 30th episode, we take a look back at the last 29 episodes and we are introducing video (for YouTube and Spotify users) which will continue going forward.
Token Gamer and NFT Insider have decided to combine forces to launch a weekly podcast, Mint One (formerly WAX Lyrical). John Nichols of NFT Insider and I will discuss a new topic every week, as well as feature special guests. If there’s a topic you’d like us to cover, make sure you let us know through the Token Gamer Discord or Twitter, or the NFT Insider Discord or Twitter.
In last week’s episode, John and I went through 15 blockchain games we are the most excited about. This week, it’s a more casual episode where we discuss the best bits of the last 29 episodes, the direction for the future, and I reveal my face which nobody asked for.
Episode 30: The Story of the Mint One Podcast So Far
Starting the Mint One podcast was one of the most innocuous suggestions I’ve ever made. I’ve listened to thousands of hours of podcasts over the last decade and I had always vaguely wanted my own, but never quite found the topic that gave me the motivation necessary to not only start one, but be consistent with it. Fortunately, John was completely on board, and off we went.
One of the key takeaways from this video, for fans of the podcast at least, is that our direction is shifting slightly. We are working to bring in more guests of the highest caliber and have some lined up already. The markets might be down and your portfolio might be red, but away from the headlines and the fear-mongering, Web3 is being built and industries are evolving. So, we want to be right on the front line, speaking with the movers and shakers and discussing the macro-level shifts.
One quick note: to include video, I had to make several changes to my setup and the sound quality (on my end) took a hit. This will hopefully be fixed for the next episode.
The Spotify embed of the podcast would usually be here but an issue has occurred. All other platforms are available, but as soon as Spotify is too, I’ll embed it here.
We’d like to ask that if you listen to us on Apple Podcasts and/or Spotify that you rate us five stars and leave us a review if you enjoy Mint One. This helps both our podcast and the blockchain gaming ecosystem as a whole!
To listen to Mint One, you can find us on Spotify, Apple Podcasts, Anchor, and Google Podcasts.
