Gala Games Join Elixir Game Launcher in New Partnership

We have seen some billboard partnerships in web3 this year and today, we have seen one more: Gala Games has partnered with Elixir Games to bring some of their flagship titles to the Elixir platform.

Elixir is a web3 gaming platform that I have been following for some time. While they were on my radar, it wasn’t until the middle of last year that I considered them to be a potential force to be reckoned with. Since then, Elixir has done nothing but add evidence to that notion. For a good overview, What Is Elixir? The Web3 Game Platform from last year will give you what you need. However, since that article, Elixir has partnered with Square Enix to “drive mass adoption of web3 gaming” — just to give you an indication of how big a player Elixir is becoming.

As for Gala Games, we have been covering them for 2 years, and in that time, they have become one of the most recognizable names in blockchain gaming. A little over a year ago, we covered some of the most highly anticipated games on their roster — though for me, outside of Mirandus, I want to see Peter Molyneux’s debut blockchain game.

Gala Games Partners With the Elixir Game Launcher

Elixir Games and Gala Games have today announced they are joining forces and that the Elixir Games Launcher will now play host to some of Gala’s leading projects. Initially, the partnership will extend to Spider Tanks and Town Star.

As part of the partnership, Elixir will be hosting weekly gaming nights with prizes and special guests, an initiative that looks to promote streamers and content creators. The aim of the events is also to cultivate a competitive scene.

We are thrilled to join forces with Gala Games and introduce their incredible gaming experiences to our platform […] Our goal is to provide players with the best gaming content and community engagement, and this partnership allows us to deliver on that promise. We look forward to starting this initiative with Town Star and Spider Tanks, and working with Gala to expand their gaming catalog with the Elixir Games Launcher.

— Carlos Roldan, Founder & CEO at Elixir Games

One final note is that Elixir will also be hosting one of Gala Games’ nodes to support the Gala network. It’s great to see major organizations in the space collaborating rather than competing!
