Popular wallet and crypto exchange, Coinbase, has launched Gaming Days for users with the wallet to play Web3 games and earn crypto rewards.
Coinbase is one of the few major crypto institutions still standing with a trusting userbase after this tumultuous year, but their involvement has primarily been investments and sponsorships. There are several gaming-related investments that you can see if you search for Coinbase on TG as well as sponsorships of esports teams with a view to the future of the space.
Now, Coinbase has launched Gaming Days, starting today (17th December 2022), in which a prize pool is created for tournaments or game objectives so that players with a Coinbase wallet can play and earn.
First up, on the 17th to 18th December, is a collaboration between the esports platform, Community Gaming and the Web3 FPS, EV.io. This tournament has a prize pool of $5,000 USDC! If you haven’t seen Ev.io before, it’s a favorite of ours and you can see our first impressions here:

19th December, Pixels: The first 5,000 Coinbase wallet users to connect with this Polygon-based RPG will receive an in-game mystery box.
20th December, MOBOX: The first 3,000 players with a Coinbase wallet who complete in-game tasks in this casual, Binance-based RPG, will receive a MOBOX Avatar, and the first 2,000 to complete a special in-game assignment will get a MOMO NFT.
21st December, Spider Tanks: The first 10,000 players with a Coinbase wallet to compete in this special event in the Gala PvP brawler will get a special edition tank skin!
22nd December, Evaverse: The first 1,000 players with a Coinbase wallet to complete the tasks of this event will get airdropped a Purrtle Pack NFT for the PvP racing game on Polygon.
